Circle – Innovative Condom Packaging

From beginning to end. From start to finish. The purpose of a circle.

In collaboration with Pia Büchter and Jasmin Klönne, I worked on the Circle project - a condom packaging design aimed at improving both functionality and discretion. Our challenge was to create a packaging solution that not only protects the condoms from friction damage, but also addresses the issue of discreet disposal. Circle offers a thoughtful approach to packaging, providing a safe and elegant way to carry condoms from purchase to disposal. Focusing on discretion while giving an appreciative touch to intimate moments together. To address the common problem of condoms being left behind in public places, Circle includes a dedicated case for clean and discreet disposal, ensuring both efficiency and respect for privacy.

Challanges

The Circle project came with some interesting challenges. First, we needed to create paper-based packaging that kept the condom safe from friction while still meeting safety standards. It was a real balancing act to make sure the design was both elegant and practical – combining good looks with functionality. Another important hurdle was coming up with a discreet and convenient disposal solution. We wanted to make sure that users could dispose of the condom properly and privately, avoiding any issues with improper disposal. Overall, it was all about finding that sweet spot between style, safety, and user privacy.
